Barr Mansion’s story began in 1898, when Tilly and William Braxton Barr built the historic farmhouse on land once known as Sprinkle, Texas. After decades as the Barr family home, the property was lovingly restored by founder Melanie McAfee, beginning a new chapter as one of Austin’s treasured event destinations. Today, her daughter Abby Daigle carries that family legacy forward, bringing more than 20 years of event experience and a lifelong passion for meaningful celebrations.
