music created a lovely ambience, and as you saw, the next-door bride
came over;
we were making her and her guests super jealous with our classy music!

communication and ensuring that all the details are covered. Even when
my dad,
who is from the Caribbean, had trouble understanding that I had to wait
for "my
song," you pulled through and saved the day! You helped my father and
the

Joel did
such an amazing job setting the mood with
music at our reception. My husband and I were so busy leading
up to the wedding, we hadn't even thought about what kind of music we
wanted
for the party but after a short conversation with Joel about our musical
tastes, he put together an amazing play list that kept everyone on the
dance floor all night. We had so much fun and my friends and
family are still talking about how great the music was that night!

Greenbelt
DJ did a
phenomenal job at our wedding this summer. It was so easy to coordinate
all the details with Joel via phone and email, as we are in Fort Worth,
even
thoughthe wedding was outside of Waco and Joel was in Austin.
Everything

playing requests from our guests and our favorites as well - there were
several
times at the reception when almost all of our 100 guests were dancing.

We highly recommend Joel from Greenbelt DJ! Our wedding was on 8/16/2009, and we think he did a fantastic job! I was really concerned about the cheesy wedding DJs that everyone is used to, but he was classy and fun. He honored all of our requests and wishes, kept everyone engaged having fun, and was an overall pleasure to work with. He was highly responsive before the wedding, always easy to get a hold of and quickly answered any questions and concerns. Also, we shopped around a lot and his pricing was outstanding for the service that you got, other vendors wanted twice as much as his pricing and took weeks to respond to us. I cannot say enough good things about Greenbelt DJ. Just know that we were extremely pleased with his service. We hope you book him, you won’t be disappointed!

My first contact with Joel was great,
and he just improved upon that in the following months! We met with him 9
months before our wedding, instantly
clicked and hired him, and didn't meet again until our July wedding. However,
we had tons of email communication, to which Joel always responded immediately.
On the day of the wedding, Joel was phenomenal. He read the crowd beautifully,
and when he realized we had several Spanish speaking guests, Joel even looked
up Spanish language translations for key reception announcements to make sure
everyone was informed. It was above and beyond what he was hired to do, but he
did it because his chief concern was being a great DJ and MC! Beyond that, we
did not have too many "must play" requests but we had quite a few "do
not play" requests. Joel not only stuck to those, but if there was an
'iffy' song requested by one of our guests that we may not have liked, he
always made sure I (the bride) was okay with it before playing the song. He
knew just when to play an oldie-but-goodie dance song for the 20-somethings
based on what the crowd was enjoying. If that wasn't enough, Joel was also very
on top of the reception timeline I had given him. When some of my wedding venue
coordinators got confused about it and tried to change up the timing, Joel
checked with me and I confirmed that Joel's timeline was the one to follow. He
was an advocate for me with the coordinators so I could just keep enjoying
myself! Basically, I didn't have to worry about a thing with Joel as my wedding
DJ. I'm so glad he was a part of our big day and would recommend him to
anyone!! Thank you so much, Joel!

and we very pleased with his work. Besides being very personable,
Joel was very open to meeting and he was great about corresponding so that all
the music-related details could be pinned down. When I realized that because
of the configuration of our wedding reception site, we were going to
need a specially arranged sound system, Joel met us at the site and
figured out a way to make the accommodations. And then when we gave him a list
of a few hundred songs we wanted to hear, a number of which are not
popular songs, he confirmed within a few hours that he was ready to
play nearly every single one of them. On our wedding day, Joel
really "read the crowd" and knew just what dance songs to play
to keep people dancing. Because of his intuitiveness, the dancing was the
